Hotel group Signature Living has unveiled its proposals to build a series of breathtaking wooden cabins tucked away into treetops, and they’re the stuff of storybooks.
Tree houses, lakeside cabins and a woodland wedding venue will make this one of the must-visit destinations in the North-West.
To offer a taste of what guests could expect, the company has revealed a host of artists’ impressions – and they really do look like something straight out of once upon a time.
Expect cosy wooden interiors, freestanding bath tubs with direct views of the lush green scenery, and spacious outdoor decks with wicker furniture for that ultimate ‘countryside retreat’ feel.
They aim to re-open the Grade II listed Rainhill Hall as a luxury wedding venue and hotel in 2020.
Lawrence Kenwright, Chairman of Signature Living said: “Hosting woodland weddings in the stunning grounds of Rainhill Hall will be a first for the North of England.
“Our proposals – transforming the venue into a magical wedding and events space, helping to create a show-stopping experience – are aimed at putting this historic site firmly back on the map.
“The hall itself, which has been left empty for five years, will be lovingly restored not only to give the building a new lease of life, but to provide luxury accommodation which will help bring in much needed tourism.
“I believe a living wall, together with Hansel and Gretel style log cabins, will ensure Rainhill becomes one of the UK’s top destinations to tie the knot.”
