The Brexit Party stormed to victory in the European Parliament election vote in St Helens.
Nigel Farage’s new party secured a huge win across the Borough after winning 13,763 votes.
Labour came second with 8,443, followed by the Green Party with 5,530, Liberal Democrats with 5.015, Conservatives with 1,805, UKIP with 1,548, Tommy Robinson with 1,238, Change UK – The Independent Group with 1,189, English Democrats with 244, UK European Union Party with 154 and Mohmmad Aslam with 34.
The total number of valid votes was 38,963 (28.59% of those eligible to vote)
