Get on your bike…to raise funds for hospice

Cycling enthusiasts are being encouraged to sign up now for Willowbrook Hospice’s Ride 45 on 14th July!

Now in its’ 6th year, organisers hope the event will see both hospice supporters and keen cyclists don their helmets and mount their bikes to complete the 45 mile cycle challenge across the St Helens, Knowsley, Sefton and West Lancashire countryside in support of the charity, which cares for local people living with cancer and other serious illnesses.

Organiser and Willowbrook Fundraiser Carl Davies says:“ Whether you’re a keen rider or have only been cycling for a little while, Ride 45 is a fantastic event to take part in –helping keep you in shape whilst you raise money to help Willowbrook to continue to care and support local people with life-limiting illnesses.”

Carl added: “It currently costs almost £5 million each year to run our vital service with over 60 per cent coming from fundraising activities. That’s why sponsorship money from events like Ride45 is so important– it helps make sure that we can continue to care for people, when they need it most.”

Ride 45 starts and finishes at Rainford Technology College. Registration is £20 per person* plus sponsorship. To sign up, please visit https://willowbrookhospice.charitycheckout.co.uk/ride45-18/ or ring 01744 453798.
