When Another Dragon Roars is a fairy tale-esque performance by Altered Scale Theatre and Petite Ullaloom that illustrates the trickiness of dealing with dragons.
This charming production follows two children who find conversation difficult. While camping they share stories about dragons, finding revelations about their own emotions along the way.
Fusing outstanding puppetry and distinctive storytelling, When Another Dragon Roars is not to be missed when it swoops into Parr Library on Friday 2 August.
There are two performances at 10:30am and 2pm, both of which are relaxed autism-friendly shows.
Councillor Anthony Burns, St Helens Council’s Cabinet Member for Public Health, Leisure and Libraries, said: “Our libraries are truly fantastic community resources, particularly when it comes to keeping families entertained over the long summer break with great events like this one. So book your tickets and come along! Our Summer Reading Challenge is underway too, so ask our friendly library team about getting involved.”
Tickets are required for this event, costing £3 or £8 for families or groups of four. Book online at www.culturalhubs.eventbrite.co.uk or buy tickets in St Helens libraries.
