Slight relaxation of rules on meeting people from Monday 1st June

From Monday 1st June, up to six people will be able to meet in gardens – in addition to parks – as long as households keep two metres apart

This will allow people to see both parents at once or both grandparents at once.

Mixing with several different households in quick succession should be avoided.

People should not be inside the homes of other people, unless it is to access the garden

Despite the slight relaxation of rules on meeting people, those deemed most vulnerable to Covid-19 should continue to shield themselves for now.
