Apex Charitable Trust and Plan Bee Community Coffee shop have successfully secured funding from Torus Foundation and Asda Foundation to deliver a new project which offers free meals to isolated older people in St Helens.
The meals include a main such as hotpot or shepherd’s pie, a dessert and a drink and will be delivered free of charge. The only criteria is the person receiving the meal must be over 60- years of age, have difficulty getting out of the house and be experiencing financial difficulty.
All meals need to be booked in advance by calling 07787 789479 just ask for a ‘My Meal’

Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9.00am – 4.30pm they have free meals which can be collected or delivered ((within a 4-mile radius of Plan Bee community coffee shop). They will continue to offer this service until funding runs out.
